Through positive, non-threatening, simple key messages and stories, we introduce young children to the concepts of:

  1. Children’s rights
  2. Safe and supportive friendships
  3. Adults’ responsibility to protect children from harm
  4. Privacy, Safe and unsafe touching
  5. Simple and effective Personal Safety Rules

Our workshop aims to provide children with the knowledge and skills to:

  • Recognize sexual abuse and dangerous situations that may lead to sexual abuse
  • Understand body ownership and rights – “my body is mine”
  • Be able to say “No” when required
  • Run and tell a trusted adult if something is inappropriate
  • Keep telling until someone provides help
