Tracing the soul of Kerala’s cultural heritage
Saraswathi Vidyalaya’s heritage club programmes are designed so as to involve students in various activities that develop their interest in the rich cultural legacy left behind by our ancestors. The club organised a trip to Museum of History and Heritage in Trivandrum. Inter-School English Debate Competition @ Saraswathi Vidyalaya, Trivandrum
“The principal value of debate lies in the development of logical thought processes, and the ability to articulate your positions publicly” – Senator Dick Clark of Iowa
Participating in debates are very beneficial for students, so schools should promote debating clubs and contests. Students get a chance to hone their public speaking and researching skills. Reading about current affairs and general issues are essential for debaters, so these habits are also cultivated in children. Learning the art of persuasion and developing self confidence are other advantages of taking part in debates.

Great show by Saraswathy Vidyalaya
Proud of the students of Saraswathy Vidyalaya who celebrated independence day in a very unique way. Under the guidance of the school’s Eco Club, the students conducted clean-up activities outside their school premises on August 15. Kudos to the Eco club members for organizing this and spreading awareness on the need to keep our surroundings litter free and clean.
