Eric Carle Story Magic and FunReads@Schoolkutti with Matilda
Reading workshops encourage children to become independent readers by focussing on fluency, comprehension and vocabulary. In the current covid scenario, on online reading program is a great way to motivate children to read.
Schoolkutti.com is coming up with two reading programs in June.
- Eric Carle Story Magic (for 4 to 6 year olds)
Join us for a special program featuring Eric Carle’s iconic books. This participatory program is intended to encourage children to actively engage with stories by Eric Carle. Kids can join in, speak, sing along, move around, watch and listen to lovely stories and songs.
- FunReads@Schoolkutti with Matilda (for 7 to 9 year olds)
FunReads@Schoolkutti is an interactive reading program with fun activities. In June, we will be reading and discussing the classic children’s novel ‘Matilda’ by Roald Dahl. There will also be activities that are educational, fun and interesting!
Scrabble Time
Scrabble is a great mind game for kids to build their vocabulary skills. Schoolkutti.com conducted a Scrabble Workshop last week for 9 to 12 year olds. Our budding word-builders had great fun looking up new words, challenging their peers and playing around with words and letters. We had lots of positive feedback from students who attended our last batch.
