Internship Stories

When it comes to our April Summer Camp, the significance of our intern Nandini, a 13-year-old talented young lady, cannot be overstated. She has demonstrated her abilities in every stage of our camp, from storyteller to event coordinator, and her enthusiastic attitude has inspired so many young minds in our library throughout the camp sessions. Here is Nandini’s experience with Schoolkutti. com Children’s Library as an intern;

My summer camp internship at Schoolkutti library has been a wonderful journey! It was my first ever work experience and Schoolkutti was the best place for it. The staff are like family and everyone is so kind and fun! I really enjoyed helping with the crafts and games, and taking storytelling sessions for the juniors. The best part of the internship, for me, was helping people find books and recommending some according to their likings. I hope that my suggestions helped people to discover books that they connect to.

I found that you get to know kids even better as an intern than if you were part of the summer camp.

This summer camp was awesome for all of the participants! Some of the kids met as strangers and parted as the best of friends! This summer has so many precious memories. We will all remember it forever.

Thank you, Seema aunty, for this amazing opportunity 😍!
